The event should be open to general participation by the planetary community. Each award offers a certificate and up to $2,000 in travel support, to be presented by a PSI representative at a scientific conference or meeting. We believe these awards can foster international collaboration and broaden the horizons of aspiring planetary scientists. Practice and share planetary science engagement approaches through a culturally inclusive lens, with a focus on building a shared understanding of the roles that science and cultural identities play in how we engage with diverse audiences. We will also enable participants to get to know each other, to create a supportive networking environment to support early career attendees, particularly those who are members of minoritized groups, and any who may struggle with the challenge of fitting into this large professional conference. There will be an optional pre-workshop virtual session, to enable all participants to meet each other and to hear tips from experienced conference attendees about how to prepare for attending AGU. Stipends are available for those who attend the entire workshop. 8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8-8 UPCOMING MEETING OF NASA'S PLANETARY ADVISORY COMMITTEE The next meeting of the Planetary Advisory Committee (PAC) will be held virtually on Nov 13th and 14th, 2023.
