We seek active participation of researchers in the areas of planetary sciences, exoplanets, and their atmospheres and habitability. The conference is a platform to promote networking between early, mid-career, and senior-career researchers, space technology and mission innovators, and start-ups. This will also be an excellent opportunity for the foreign scientific community to witness the advancement of Indian research in planetary science and exploration. The conference encourages student and early career participation. Limited funding options are available for them, for which requests can be sent to icpeh@prl.res.in. Abstract submission is open until 10 January 2024. Registration is open until 21 January 2024. Detailed information, and a list of confirmed solicited and keynote speakers, can be found at the conference website: https://icpeh.ipsa-asso.in/ We request your kind support in disseminating the above information to potentially interested colleagues. Best regards, Megha Bhatt Convenor, ICPEH 2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2-2 AOGS SESSION PS05: SMALL BODIES IN THE SOLAR SYSTEM AND BEYOND Asia Oceania Geosciences Society 2024, 23-28 June 2024, Pyeongchang, South Korea Abstract deadline extended to 10 January 2024 at: https://tinyurl.com/4vu94ruv This session provides a forum to share new findings on small bodies. We welcome abstracts presenting results from space missions, ground- and space-based observations, laboratory experiments/analyses, and theoretical studies. We invite abstracts reporting the latest results from DART, Hayabusa2, OSIRIS-REx, Rosetta, Dawn, HST, ALMA, and JWST. Contributions discussing future mission prospects and planned deep all-sky surveys are also welcome. The goal of this session is to encourage international communication and collaboration on small body research and to highlight recent progress in this field. Conveners: Yoonyoung Kim, Xian Shi, Masateru Ishiguro, Jian-Yang Li, Zhong-Yi Lin 3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3-3 ABSCICON 2024 SESSION: GEOPHYSICAL INVESTIGATIONS OF HABITABILITY IN ICY OCEAN WORLDS In the search for life in our Solar System, a putative biosignature is only as robust as the understanding of its environmental context. For ice-covered ocean worlds such as Europa, Enceladus, and Titan, geophysical methods are the primary means for sounding the subsurface oceans to understand whether conditions exist that might support biological processes. The Europa Clipper mission will use combined radar, magnetic sounding, and gravity science to investigate the ocean's properties. The Dragonfly mission will include a seismometer as part of its investigation of the subsurface structure and composition. Other combinations of geophysical measurements might be employed on future missions. This session welcomes discussion of geophysical strategies, experiments, and models for probing ocean world habitability.
