[NASA] LUNAR SCIENCE INSTITUTE: PROPOSAL OPPORTUNITY

On June 2, 2008, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA) Science Mission Directorate (SMD), in cooperation with the
Exploration Systems Mission Directorate (ESMD), is releasing a
Cooperative Agreement Notice (NNH08ZDA008C) soliciting proposals for
the NASA Lunar Science Institute (NLSI). Proposals must advance the
full scope of NLSI objectives as defined in the Institute's Mission
Statement, see NLSI website at:

http://lunarscience.arc.nasa.gov 

Proposals may address science of the Moon, on the Moon, and from
the Moon, including objectives that meet NASA's future lunar
exploration needs. Awards will be for 4 years duration. Participation
is open to all categories of organizations (domestic and non-U.S.).

Notices of Intent (NOIs) are due June 27, 2008, and proposals are due
August 29, 2008.

HiRISE SPECIAL ISSUE OF ICARUS

A special issue of Icarus is planned, to highlight the results of 
analyses of Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter HiRISE images.  The deadline 
for submission of manuscripts is September 2, 2008, with online 
publication planned for spring 2009 and print publication in fall 
2009.  Information regarding submission of manuscripts to Icarus may
