The comment period is extended from its original date of January 16, 2019, to February 11, 2019. The target release date for the final AO is not yet set. NASA released a draft of the Discovery 2019 AO on December 12, 2018. The text can be found on NSPIRES at: https://nspires.nasaprs.com Search "Open Solicitations" for "Draft Discovery" or “NNH19ZDA009J”. Proposers are encouraged to read the Draft Discovery AO and provide feedback for NASA’s consideration as the AO is finalized. Another such event will happen again, it is only a matter of time. The impact on our technological society could be severe and cost billions to trillions.
